Pauma Bay Café at Casino Pauma
The long and winding road from I-15 east on the 76 to Casino Pauma is a lovely drive. I marvel at the beauty of this area, and it doesn’t take much to imagine what we now know as San Diego County was once virgin land and the Pauma Valley was probably a
true oasis. Now known as “The Player’s Oasis,” Casino Pauma is in the heart of the Pauma Valley and worth the trip for a day’s outing of play and good eats at great prices.
SAN DIEGO GAMING GUIDE
The bright and cheery Pauma Bay Café is right off the table games area towards the back of the casino and has a light and airy feel. Outdoor seating is available on an adja- cent patio during the day, and the décor and ambience is tropical. The staff at Casino Pauma and at the Pauma Bay Café are open and friendly and want to be sure that you have a great time! Our server, K.C., guided us with great enthusiasm and aplomb through a packed dinner menu! Notable about the Pauma Bay Café is the enormous value of the meals. Portions are

And there are large and delicious Cobb ($4.25), Chicken Caesar, and Oriental Chicken salads ($4.25 each) on both the dinner and lunch menus.
The breakfast menu includes old-time favorites at old-time prices! You can have omelets—ham and cheese, Western and Spanish for $4.25—and even create your own for the same price! There are also pancakes, waf es and French toast. And great coffee! And the Pauma Bay Café has a 95¢ breakfast special daily from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.!

San Diego Man Wins Over $1 Million on Quartermania® Progressive at Sycuan Casino & Resort
“I typically play table games when I visit casinos,” said Quiamzon. “So I didn’t real- ize that I had won. I thought that something had happened to the machine.” He had played just $2 when the jackpot hit.
Quiamzon was visiting Sycuan Casino with his wife and cousin and decided to play slots for the rst time based on advice from a co-worker from electronics and manufactur- ing company Kyocera, who had heard about a sizable jackpot that was won at Sycuan Casino on New Year’s Eve.
Although he says that he is not normally lucky, Quiamzon now believes that his luck may be changing for the better. He plans to invest most of his winnings, pay college tuition for his 14- and 18-year-old children, and possibly even buy a new house and a Mercedes.
Quiamzon’s jackpot is the largest ever won on Quartermania on the Native American Progressive Systems.

“We are ecstatic to be in this prestigious company after only being open since January 2001. Many of the great- est public golf facilities in the entire country are in Cali- fornia, and to be a part of this group is quite attering,” said Clifford LaChappa, Chairman of the Barona Band of Mission Indians. “This has been a group effort led
by our Director of Golf, Don King and the golf course design team of Gary Roger Baird and his senior archi- tect Todd Eckenrode.”
Barona Creek Golf Club is a centerpiece of Barona’s current $260 million expansion project, which will include a new 315,000 square foot casino, 400-room resort hotel, wedding chapel and events center. The Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino is scheduled for completion in late 2002.
Barona Casino’s new resort facility construction is on schedule for late 2002 opening.
