SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAMING GUIDE
SCahuilla Creek Casino Restaurant
tepping into the Cahuilla Creek Casino in Riverside County is a player’s dream. Nestled
in the “Heart of the Horizon” in beautiful Anza, CA, Cahuilla Creek is just moments up
the hill from Palm Springs, Temecula, and Riverside. The casino is a small, friendly, and real Western casino — what you see is what you get. No glitz and glam here, just the slots, tables, and fun — rollicking entertainment. You know from the Stetson-ed locals you see there, that this is a comfortable place where you’re likely to learn the change person’s name and return again and again for a good time at the slots, at the tables, and in the restaurant and the bar.
and Mountain Cahuilla Chili—Cahuilla’s best chili served with shredded cheese and onion.
The dinner menu includes the best cuts of meat and sh. Menu items include a Mixed Grill (top sirloin, pork loin, and shrimp) for $11.95; Sweet & Spicy Shrimp ($9.95) cooked from an old Mexican recipe; Half- Rack of Pork Ribs — smoked and grilled in special Cahuilla Mountain barbecue sauce; and Grilled Pork Loin marinated in
Yucatan Achiote sauce. You can have Prime Rib on Fridays and Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. The “Queen Cut” is $10.95; the “King Cut” is $14.95. All entrees are served with soup or salad, baked or mashed potatoes, fresh vegetablesandbreadandbutter.
Desserts include home-made apple pie, chocolate cream pie (oh me, oh my — so good!), coconut cream pie, and lemon meringue pie. Leave some room for these tasty sweets!
The Cahuilla Creek restaurant serves beer and wine and there’s a full bar and a daily Happy Hour from 4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. in Club 371. Go forth and experience the country air and laid-back atmosphere of the Cahuilla Creek Casino. (And don’t forget to put a ver in a slot — you just never know!) Open 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily. Breakfast served 7 a.m. to Noon. Sunday Brunch Buffet 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The lively restaurant is right off the casino oor and serves delicious, home-made, good food—and plenty of it at great prices. Open from 7:00 a.m.

Breakfasts (served Monday–Saturday 7:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m.) are wholesome and lling with Biscuits and
and salads. My favorites include the roasted beef French Dip ($5.95) and the corned beef Reuben
($5.25) — great deli treats that are surprisingly good in this country casino. Salads include Caesar, Cobb, Chef’s and a delicious Greek salad ranging from $5.25 – $6.50.
Dinners at Cahuilla Creek can begin with an array of appetizers (which can also be ordered any time of the day). They include a Shrimp Basket—crispy fried shrimp with seafood sauce ($4.95); a Sampler Plate with buffalo wings, jalapeno and cheese poppers, and cheese quesadilla ($6.25);
