Southern California gamers will soon be able to experience the newest and most original gaming resort in the region — the new Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino will of cially open next month — January 2003! Gaming Guide readers have followed Barona’s construction progress on our pages for the last nine months, and Barona patrons have witnessed rsthand, the exciting
changes at the San Diego Barona Band of Mission Indians reservation. The $260 million expansion includes a world-class resort with 397 guest rooms and suites, a lakefront wedding chapel, a 300,000 square foot casino, a ve-level parking garage and the 18-hole championship Barona Creek Golf Club, plus full-service Golf Events Center. Barona Creek Golf Club and the Events Center and the garage have been open over the last several months.
But what truly makes the resort unique is its California by-gone era ranch-in uenced theme and design, coupled with the elegance of all its amenities.
