Disguised Woman. A scatter-pay feature dis- plays the Candle bonus where lit candles on the reel spaces reveal hidden bonus credits. A mystery symbol within the candles opens the door to a second-screen Catacomb bonus where players search through 3-d catacombs for one or two of the mystery characters. Four or more Disguised Lady symbols anywhere trigger the Rose bonus. Players are shown three roses, each with a different win range. Players pick a rose and is awarded a win in credits. The graphics are beautifully rendered and the colors rich and lush on this slot.
From the company that makes the
very popular Cash Express, Aristocrat Technologies has created the 20-line Jeff FoxworthyTM: You Might Be a Redneck
If... video slot. By making a five-credit
bet, players qualify to choose from five
different bonus events when the bonus
is triggered. A small TV monitor in the corner of the slot screen is the sixth reel that triggers the bonus. If Jeff Foxworthy appears on that screen, players choose from five bonus games: Bug Zapper, Squirrel Pie, Pig Bonus, Christmas Lights and the hilarious Pick a TV, where two TVs are shown each showing a Foxworthy joke. The player picks one and receives either credits or free spins. The jokes
are Foxworthy gems, for example, “You might be a redneck if you met your wife at a family reunion.”
Shuffle Master’s Chicago is an amazing 9-line, 5-reel video slot based on the Academy AwardTM-
winning film. It is the first time Miramax Films has authorized one of their movies to become a slot game, and it utilizes many aspects of the movie including several songs from the original soundtrack, most notably “Cell Block Tango”
during one of the bonus rounds. There are three main bonus rounds, each representing scenes from the film. When the bonus symbols are triggered, players get to choose which bonus round they want! In Making News, players choose negatives of photos to run in the fictitious Chicago Gazette and the editor pays credits for each photo. Jail House Confession plays out against the Cell Block Tango, complete with jail cells and the women’s stories of how they got locked up. Players select cells and the woman slink back and forth (the animation is incredible!) and the bonus round ends with a true confession. The Tap Dancing bonus recreates the tap dance of hot-shot defense lawyer Billy Flynn (played in the film by Richard Gere) and credits are won as jurors declare the defendant
“Guilty!” Chicago the slot is fun, sassy and definitely irreverent!
Another Shuffle Master Game, the fascinating Men are from Mars, Women from VenusTM follows the concept of John Gray’s best-selling book. This slot got our attention as it may be the first time a self-help book has been translated to a slot machine with humor, and fun bonus rounds!
