Shuffle Master’s Chicago is an amazing 9-line, 5-reel video slot based on the Academy AwardTM-
winning film. It is the first time Miramax Films has authorized one of their movies to become a slot game, and it utilizes many aspects of the movie including several songs from the original soundtrack, most notably “Cell Block Tango”
during one of the bonus rounds. There are three main bonus rounds, each representing scenes from the film. When the bonus symbols are triggered, players get to choose which bonus round they want! In Making News, players choose negatives of photos to run in the fictitious Chicago Gazette and the editor pays credits for each photo. Jail House Confession plays out against the Cell Block Tango, complete with jail cells and the women’s stories of how they got locked up.
