Designed by Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo of Costa Mesa, the new Spa Resort Casino is casually elegant, with textured, cream-colored stucco exterior walls, highlighted with several rounded turrets topped with varying shades of blue concrete tile.

A blending of textured fabrics, smooth handsome woods and beautiful sconce and chandelier lighting create the comfortable elegance of the casino.
One of the Spa Resort Casino’s most unique features is that it is powered by a cogeneration

of desert textures and materials, including
rich woods, plush leather, rough stone
and sleek metals. Guest bathrooms will feature new granite surfaces and new lighting and xtures. The exterior of the resort is also being revitalized with a complete new paint makeover in shades of yellow, gold and umber. Power of the Waters: Mineral Springs Spa
The Spa Resort Casino hotel is located on the very spot where over 1000 years ago, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians rst discovered “Se-Khi” (boiling waters), the hot mineral springs for which Palm Springs was
named. The Cahuilla considered the springs sacred, with great curative and restorative powers. It is said that the Tribe built a simple bathhouse on the site that is now the Spa Resort Casino hotel.
The hot springs were used for bathing and health purposes for as long as the Indians can remember and was opened to the public as a bathhouse in
1870. Today’s streamlined Spa has two forerunners. The rst was a primitive, rough-planked shack. Years later, the second one was a low-lying structure of “bathing cubicles.” In their place now stands the beautiful Spa Resort hotel. The same springs that bubble from that spot today rival other outstanding spas throughout the world.
The award-winning Spa is a true oasis to experience the power of the waters. The Spa offers water therapy, massage, skin and body
treatments and “relaxation” packages. A wide variety of spa services and treatments are available including Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Shiatsu, Sports Massage, European Facials, Stone Therapy—each expertly handled by a professional massage therapist, aesthetician or a spa technician.
A complete range of cardiovascular, strength training equipment and free weights are available in the private tness center. Personal training instructors are also ready to assist.
Palm Springs has much to offer, including the gorgeous Agua Caliente Casino in nearby Rancho Mirage, also owned and operated by the Agua Caliente Tribe, just a quick shuttle bus drive away from the Spa Resort Casino.
The Spa Resort Casino is only two miles from Palm Springs International Airport and a two-hour drive from Los Angeles or San Diego. The new Spa Resort Casino is at 401 E. Amado Road in Palm Springs. Call for reservations and information at 760-323-5865.
