Everything about the Golden Grill’s menu says big and delicious! Huge portions and enormous value are the Grill’s hallmark. Why even their doughnuts, cookies and cakes, temptingly displayed in a glass case as you enter the restaurant, are super-sized!
Open 24/7, the Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with most breakfast items available round the clock. Every menu item at the Grill is huge and tasty, assuming the country air makes you work up an extra need for feed. (It does!)
e breakfast menu has numerous o erings—even more than most larger casinos we’ve seen. Our favorites include Eggs Florentine, prepared with either thinly shaved ham or julienne chicken (a welcome option), the requisite spinach, and two poached eggs on a toasted English mu n, topped with Hollandaise sauce. e Back Country Benedict is a hungry-sized variation of Eggs Benedict (also available) with two freshly baked biscuits halved and covered with a country-fried steak, topped with three eggs, any style and lots of gravy.
Golden Grill lunches are legendary. Known for its “Golden Glory Burger,” a two-pound charbroiled cheeseburger on a specially designed (huge) sesame bun, and oversized salads, chili, there are also healthy menu items; notably Atkins-style “wraps,” low-carb our
tortilla-filled
creations with
chicken, vegetables, and avocado.
But don’t miss the Golden Grill’s dinner specials that are unbelievable menu deals including dessert — all for $10.99! ese daily dining specials change each month. A unique menu item, “Golden Acorn Buckets” come chock- full of a variety of seafood, chicken or ribs, depending on the day. Ordering one of these will bring you a small mountain of delicious dining.
In March and April the Tuesday special is the signature “Golden Acorn Bucket” with Baja-seasoned Slipper Lobster Tail and Shrimp, and Carne and Pollo Asada, plus Spanish rice, refried beans and tortillas — all served with the Golden Grill’s salad/salsa bar complete with guacamole, Pico de Gallo, and all the xings. e Grill adds dessert — a generous slice of Strawberry LaBomba cake — for a $10.99 feast!
On Wednesdays go for the bbq Ribs & Chicken Bucket, with beef and pork barbecued ribs, and baked chicken leg with choice of baked, mashed or French- fried potatoes, plus baked beans, mini corn-on-the-cob, served with a salad bar that includes cole slaw, macaroni
Mondays, try the All-you-can-eat roasted Prime Rib au jus with potato, steamed vegetables and the salad bar, and Strawberry LaBomba cake — again at $10.99!
On Fridays there is a Grilled New York Steak and Baked Lobster Tail Combo with potato, salad bar, steamed broccoli and Opera Cake for $10.99! ere are specials for every day of the week — we described the ones we like. Call and ask what’s being served that day (1-866-794-6244).
Other dinner items include Mexican entrees, pasta winners, steaks and chops, seafood, and a prime rib any day of the week. Skip a meal before you go — the quantity and quality will de nitely impress.
