ummer in Southern California is almost here, and June is the traditional month of new beginnings: Graduations and weddings. And June is our month
to treat you to news about one of casino players’ favorite games: Video Poker! Every summer we share news with you about the new video poker slots coming to Southern California casinos. Some of this year’s games are taken right from card games, including a slot based on the incredibly popular Hold ’Em, responsible for the current poker craze. In fact as we go to press, the World Series of Poker is being held in Las Vegas! ere’s even a new video poker slot that is also based on another poker phenomenon—Pai Gow Poker. So get ready for a June feature that tells you about these new video poker games; tips on learning to play from the reigning expert of video poker, Bob Dancer; and where you can play in Southern California!
In the past two months we’ve received quite a number of calls and e-mails about the new progressives article we featured in our April issue, asking us for lists of where to play the fantastic new games. Page 7 details the Southern California casinos where you can play Millioni$erTM. e
Wheel of Fortune Special Edition® is currently at Cahuilla Casino, Fantasy Springs Casino, San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino, Sycuan Resort & Casino, Valley View Casino, and Viejas Casino. And Quartermillion$TM is now at Valley View Casino, Harrah’s Rincon Casino, and soon at Fantasy Springs Casino. We’ll keep you posted.
Meanwhile, enjoy the beginning of the 2004 summer, and always wager wisely and have fun at the casinos!
