n the evening of April 15th, Tommy Cunningham, an actor from Redlands, CA, knew it was his lucky night. After putting his last $20 bill into a dollar Monopoly® MoneyTM wide area progressive slot machine at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino, he
lined up the three Monopoly symbols and won the $209,312 jackpot!
Mr. Cunningham, a regular blackjack player at San Manuel, spotted Monopoly Money,
and said he had a gut feeling he was going to be lucky. He said,“I never play the slots, because I prefer the odds of the tables, but when I saw the jackpot on the machine, I just knew it was going to hit.” When the jackpot did hit, a huge crowd of people gathered around. Accord- ing to Mr. Cunningham, “I was overly excited. I just started yelling and all of these people started gathering around me to see what the commotion was about.” He is not yet sure what he will do with his winnings, but plans to continue pursuing his acting career. He said his new fortune will a ord him some di erent opportunities.
