chips. However, if my plan goes awry, I don’t get impatient, because I know as long as I have $1,000 in chips half an hour, I can apply pressure to enough players at the 50-100 blind level to have a good shot of rebuilding my stack.
I suggest playing some online sit-and-goes and experiment with each style. Don’t necessarily over- commit to one way, but understanding how to play both styles will give you two advantages. You will be able to recognize the other players’ tendencies and you will become comfortable playing the big stack or the little stack.

If you are starting with only $1,000 in chips and 15-minute blinds and you lose a few hands and  nd yourself down to $500 with 25-50 blinds, you have to pick your one decisive moment: re-raise a loose raiser or try to lure a big-stack
into a loose all-in call against your premium hand.
If I start with $1,500 in chips and 25 minute blinds,
