Fantasy Springs Resort Casino Raises More than $10,000 to Help

he Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House® (LLRMH) recently partnered with Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio to raise $10,308 for seriously ill children and their families. e casino
designated a 12-slot bank of mixed game penny slots for the fund-raiser in which all of the winnings were donated to the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House. Currently, there is a high demand for services the LLRMH provides to families in need, and the funds raised will help the LLRMH to accommodate more families by paying to have them
stay at local motels when the House is full.
“ e fund-raiser allowed the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House to continue
providing a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving treatment for cancer, serious illnesses and injuries at nearby hospitals in Riverside and San Bernardino counties,” said Dee Feldmeir, LLRMH Executive Director. “We are very grateful for the support of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino as they help us accommodate more families in need each year.”
Families often travel great distances to receive specialized medical care for their children. In 2005, 42 percent of all families served by the LLRMH were from Riverside County and 33 percent of all families served reside in the Coachella Valley. LLRMH is a haven of hope where families can o er comfort to others who share similar experiences.
