Yes, this issue is a little thicker this month. We added four more pages to the Southern California Gaming Guide to bring you more news and information. One of the most frequent requests we receive is to add more features and more articles, and with the extra pages, we plan to do just that. For a start, this month writer Anna Tennant, no stranger to these pages, writes about luck. Do you think you’re lucky? Is luck something we can change? What do you think? Read what she says on page 16.
Don’t forget Dad on Father’s Day, Sunday June 17th. ere are lots of fun and exciting events at Southern California casinos—special Father’s Day bu ets, and poker and blackjack tournaments. Or treat Dad to a casino show on the weekend or an afternoon at the casino. Who knows, maybe he’ll be lucky at the casino.
And this month just take a look at some of the most exciting casino promotions we’ve seen. Luxury cars, cruises and cash are just a few of the amazing casino giveaways during June. And check out the monthly Don’t Miss List on page 7 for compelling casino events in June.
Many thanks for all your letters, e-mails and phone calls. I read and listen to every one. Continue to let us know what you like and what you like to read in the Southern California Gaming Guide. is is your resource for casino playing, and we want to hear from you.
Next month, look for the 2007 Best of Southern California Reader’s Choice Survey and contest. Every year we ask your opinion about Southern California casinos and the games you play. We want to know what you like the best and the play the most. And we have some great prizes—our own giveaways—to reward you for giving us your opinion. Look for the 2007 survey in the July issue of the Southern California Gaming Guide in print and online at www. eGamingGuide.com.
