Ms. Rico was visiting Morongo Casino for a Saturday night out with friends. After playing a short time on a Wheel of Fortune dollar slot machine, she turned $60 into a $677,879 MegaJackpots win!
“Icouldn’tbelieveithadhappened.Istilldon’t!It’ssoexciting,”saidMs.Rico,whosenamecoincidentally happens to mean “rich” in Spanish. “Wheel of Fortune is the game!”
e lucky 33-year-old winner plans to keep her retail management job, but hasn’t decided how she will use her MegaJackpots winnings.
And on ursday, May 8th a lucky Ontario man found $638,982 reasons to enjoy his evening at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino, hitting another $638,982 MegaJackpot on another Wheel of Fortune dollar slot machine.
e anonymous winner said he was enjoying “just an average day at the casino,” when he was drawn to the winning machine. A few spins and $20 later on the Wheel of Fortune slot, he felt a tap on his shoulder from another casino guest.
“I didn’t know I won until another player told me,” said the stunned winner.“Neither one of us knew just how big the jackpot was. We thought it was only for $1,200!”
e lucky 47-year-old construction worker will continue to work his current job. He plans to use his winnings to pay bills and part of his mortgage.
