HIs There a Holiday Jackpot in Your Future?
ere we are, almost at the end of an amazing year, beginning the winter holiday season. Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa or whatever holiday you celebrate, it is a special time to enjoy the pleasures of the season—parties, celebrations, family, and all the traditions. For many of us, there is the
need to do, to be places, see people. But this holiday season, take some time out for some fun at the casino. Bring your friends and family for a fantastic meal at a casino buffet or restaurant. Take in a casino concert or show. And who knows, there just may be a holiday jackpot in store for you.
The December feature, Holiday Jackpots begins on page 18 where you can read about some of your favorite casinos’ many ways for you to win more and be entertained in rich holiday celebrations. There are thrilling holiday cash promotions, casino-wide progressives, sumptuous holiday buffets, fun seasonal entertainment, wonderful casino-sponsored community events, and New Year’s Eve celebrations at Southern California casinos.
This year has been extraordinary in many ways for us all. With daily reminders of the state of the nation’s economy, we all may be changing many of our spending habits. Looking for value in everything we do— even for our entertainment—is first on our minds. And Southern California casinos are delivering more ways for their guests to win. Each month we continue to bring you news of exciting casino promotions and special events that offer more chances for winning fun at the casino.
At the end of every year we plan the Southern California Gaming Guide for the next twelve months, and we have some exciting changes in store for 2009. We are always thrilled to receive suggestions for articles and changes you would like to see. We value all reader input, and respond to everyone, so please keep telling us what you would like to read. In 2009 we will launch an expanded web site and follow through with some of your suggestions and include new gaming articles. Plus, look for news about new casino innovations coming to Southern California casinos and how they will make your play more exciting.
At this time, we remind you to keep your casino playing fun. Be a responsible player, and enjoy your time at the casino by always playing within your comfort zone and your means.
We give special thanks to all our service men and women and we send safekeeping wishes for all who serve overseas. And to those affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, you are in our thoughts for a thorough recovery.
We wish you all a safe, joyful and happy holiday season and a wonderful 2009! Always wager wisely, and have fun at the casinos.
