Don’t Believe the Players Club Myth
e players club card is an incredible way to expand your gaming dollar. Using a player’s club card is a no-risk, win- win exchange between you and the casino. Remember, you are always in control of your play. Privacy issue advocates understand that giving out limited information cannot compromise them.
I am continually amazed to see people play a slot machine for hours without using a players club card. On occasion, I’ve asked people why they don’t use a card and hear
di erent responses.
Many players say they don’t play enough to earn anything. But it’s surprising to see how quickly points can add up. Most players sit at a slot machine and will put back small wins as they play. e casinos call this “churn.” It’s not uncommon to churn hundreds of dollars through a slot machine in an hour of playing time. So why not get some
extra return on that play?
And some players believe the biggest casino myth: ey
say they don’t use a players club card because they think the slot machine can tell, and then it doesn’t pay. is can’t be further from the truth. ere is no connection
in a slot machine between the card reader and the slot machine’s
random number generator. Technically, the correlation is
impossible, and furthermore, illegal in California—or any other state for that matter.
And still other players say they don’t want to give out their address to the casino. However, the
casino cannot send you any rewards if your address. I never hesitate
to sign up for a players
club card whenever I
visit any casino. And in the past months I have been surprised at the number and quality of casino o ers that have come my way.
Don’t miss out on
the current hot casino rewards. If you don’t have or use a players club card for every casino you visit, sign up now, and don’t leave for the
casino without
your players
club card.

THE BIGGEST CASINO MYTH:
Using a Player’s Club Card Affects Slot Machine Payouts
TRUTH: Players club cards have absolutely no effect on slot machine payouts. In fact, the players club card reader, the slot where you insert your card, isn’t anywhere near the circuit board containing the slot machine’s random number generator, which determines a winning combination on a slot machine. Players club cards are used for the
sole purpose of recording play, including wins and losses, to reward loyal casino players. There is no reason whatsoever not to use a players club card. When you do not use a player’s card, you are denying yourself valuable rewards, free play and cash back from the casino.
