uring the next two months, you have an opportunity to voice your opinion in the 2009 Best of Southern California Gaming Reader’s Poll that will determine the Seventh Annual Reader’s Choice Best of Southern California Gaming Awards. For the past six years our readers have voted, and each year we
have awarded the Reader’s Choice Best of Southern California Gaming Awards to casinos, slot makers and others, whom you determined to be the best.
Let your opinion be heard! On page 5 you’ll  nd the 2009 Reader’s Poll survey. Fill it out completely and mail it back to the Southern California Gaming Guide, and you may even win an exciting prize!
As in past years, the prizes are your favorite—cash! You will have a chance to win one of 54 prizes including two top prizes of $1,000 each, two prizes of $500 each, and 50 copies of the newest casino computer games from award-winning Phantom EFX. Just look at the incredible entertainment appearing at your favorite casinos from June through October on our cover and starting on page 18. You can enjoy starry nights in open-air venues or cool o  in comfortable indoor theaters enjoying a wide variety of fantastic entertainment. Grammy Award-winners, comedy icons, country music stars, classic rock groups—Southern California casinos have it all! And the 2009 Casino Entertainment Guide is on page 20, listing some of the highlights of casino entertainment from June to October this year.
Don’t forget dad this month on Father’s Day, Sunday June 21st.  ere are lots of fun events at Southern California casinos—Father’s Day bu ets and meals, and bingo specials. Or treat dad to a show on the weekend or an afternoon at the casino. And look for Flag Day celebrations on June 14th at your favorite casino.

Please note that as of June 1st, all Southern California Albertsons will no longer have free publication racks in their stores. Food 4 Less and K-Mart stores are located throughout Southern California, and Famima!! stores are in Los Angeles County. We hope the addition of these new locations will add even more convenience in picking up your favorite free casino guide each month.
