Valley View Casino $134,317 Colossal Coin Winner
Labor Day this year wasn’t extraordinarily memorable for Jacqueline Crawford of Escondido (pictured left) because of a special barbeque she attended or for the record breaking heat. Instead, Monday, September 7, 2009 will be engraved in her memory as the day she was the lucky winner of the $134,317 Colossal Coin jackpot at Valley View Casino.
A native of Texas, Ms. Crawford has been a frequenter at Valley View Casino since the casino opened back in 2001. As a long-time guest, she knew the Colossal Coin jackpot was due to hit soon. After playing for a few hours, Crawford decided to go home, but once she returned to her home she had a hunch that she should head back to the casino. Her intuition was right. After playing on her favorite slot machine, Crawford became the lucky winner of the Colossal Coin jackpot, an incremental progressive jackpot that starts at $10,000 and must randomly select a winner before
reaching $150,000.
“It is always very exciting when a guest wins our Colossal Coin jackpot,” said Bruce Howard, general manager of
Valley View Casino. “It’s even more exciting that this winner in particular has been a loyal Valley View Casino guest since the beginning.”
