Championship Tournament took place March 12th to 14th. e No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em tournament attracted a total of 178 players who vied for cash prizes and the title of Coachella Valley Poker Champion over three-days. On March 14th, Sunday’s climactic showdown at noon featured 10 top players from each days’ nal tables in
exciting winner-take-all action with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. e top 20 nishers were cash winners. Larry Miranda of Temecula is the 2010 Coachella Valley Poker Champion and won $28,000 plus a custom-made winner’s bracelet. e other winners include second place: Arnold Magalong of Indio—$15,000; third place: Michael Lena
of Indio—$10,000; fourth place: Jake Jauregui of La Quinta—$10,000; and fth place: Robert Kratsch of Las Vegas—$6,000. e remaining top 20 winners were from Palm Desert; Edina, Minnesota; Indio; Cathedral City; Dana Point; Santa Monica; Riverside; Lakewood, Illinois; and Bermuda Dunes and won prizes of $6,000 to $1,200.
