e Barona Band of Mission Indians, the Community Youth Athletic Center (CYAC), and the National Latino Peace Officers Association have partnered once again to host the highly competitive event. Police o cers from the San Diego Police Department, the San Diego Sheri ’s Department, Chula Vista Police Department,
during 14 bouts scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Doors open to the public at 2:30 p.m.
During the past eight years, the Barona Tribe and Barona Resort & Casino have helped raise over $450,000 for CYAC, including a $170,000 donation to help the purchase of a new 3,700 square-foot facility in National City that opened its doors in 2001. e CYAC is a non-pro t dedicated to keeping youth o the streets
center. Serving youth from 8 to 18, the CYAC can accommodate up to 100 kids per day.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. VIP tables are available at $400 for a table of four that includes beverages and commemorative event T-shirts.
