Aristocrat Technologies’ new Godard’s Rocki slot machine. It’s a rare combination of art and ga artist Michael Godard’s signature olives, grap their familiar cocktails behind and live out their rock ’n’ r by some new friends, including a sunglass-wearing sin alluring piece of sheet music. Each and every stunning i painted by Michael Godard.
Godard burst on the art scene in 2005, and quickly F became known as the “Rock Star of the Art World.” And A this isn’t just because he looks like he could be on stage r with Guns N’ Roses. Godard is currently the top-selling t artist in the U.S. His work is highly collected by a wide Jo audience including sports gures, movie stars, private o collectors, rock stars, and people from all walks of life. P Some of his paintings even hang in the o cer’s lounge in d the Pentagon. fe
As well known as Godard is as an artist, he’s also w renowned for his philanthropy. In 2006, Godard’s daughter e Paige passed away after a battle with brain cancer. Paige’s p struggle inspired Godard, and fueled his passion to create t and to make a positive impact on the world. Godard set a u goal to raise $60 million to ght in the war against cancer. w
“All the money in the world cannot bring her back,” said Godard, “but the funds I help raise for a cure will help u save another child.” To reach this noble goal, at every art d show, Godard auctions o one of his paintings, and
donates the proceeds to di erent charities,
including The Sharon Osbourne Colon
Cancer Foundation and Starlight
Starbright Children’s Charity. Sharon
Osbourne puts it this way, “You’re not only
buying something that is a work of art, but
that money is going to save somebody’s life.”
A life-long native of Las Vegas, Godard’s art
has always re ected his passion for cocktails
and gambling. When Aristocrat Technologies approached Godard about designing a new slot game, he jumped at the chance to explore a new medium.
What most excited Godard about the project was that Aristocrat gave him carte blanche in the creation
of a brand new game. If it was in Godard’s head, the engineering team at Aristocrat was dedicated to make it happen. e result is a game that isn’t just out-of-the- box. is game never knew the box existed in the rst place. In fact, it was obvious that this game was going to need an entirely new box—and it got one, in the form
of the Verve hdTM cabinet.
In the Rock Show Feature, players touch ve speakers revealing I credit awards, and an Encore Feature if all 4 lighters are lit. t
