TWorld Series of PokerTM November Nine
he 2010 World Series of PokerTM (WSOP) Main Event began July 5th with 7,319 players.  e entries and total prize pool of $68.8 million made this year’s Main Event the second largest in WSOP history after 2006.  e players included 18 former world champions, close to 150
bracelet winners, and names known throughout the poker world.
On July 17th, the  nal nine players remained.  e November Nine will meet again on
November 6th and resume play. Once two players remain, play will stop again, and then resume late in the evening on Monday, November 8th in front of a live audience at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and conclude on that day. ESPN will televise the event on Tuesday, November 9th.
Each of the nine players who made it to the WSOP Main Event Final Table receives ninth- place prize money.  e November Nine will be playing for the top prize of $8,944,138, the coveted WSOP gold bracelet, and designation as the o cial 2010 World Poker Champion.
