year for the past eight years we have asked the readers of the Southern California Gaming GuideTM to share their opinions with us about Southern California gaming. And each year we hear loud and clear what you think. And your opinions matter!
Drum roll...so here are the results of the 2010 reader’s poll, featuring nods to the best top three casinos and slots—those favorites that our readers believe rate the Best of Southern California GamingTM awards. These awards are not chosen by our editorial staff, but by readers. During July and August this year, Southern California Gaming Guide readers responded from all over Southern California—and beyond— with either mail-in ballots that appeared in the July issue, or via online survey ballot.
Voting for the Best of Southern California Gaming closed on August 31st.
All Southern California casinos are winners in our book, but for our readers,
some stand out for their extraordinary service, fantastic amenities, generous player’s clubs and comps, incredible promotions, extraordinary buffets and restaurants, beautiful hotel rooms, and amazing headlining entertainment. A total of 29“Best of ” categories were polled this year, including 6 Best Slot awards (see page 20) for a total of 87 Best of Southern California Gaming awards. Each category was awarded

and thousands of slot machines, all three award places are very significant.

top ranks.
Reader’s favorite casinos this year include Barona Resort & Casino, with 18 awards;
Harrah’s Rincon Casino & Resort with 14 awards; Valley View Casino & Hotel with 11 awards; Sycuan Casino with 6 awards; and Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and Pechanga Resort & Casino with 5 awards each. But keep in mind that Southern California casinos are some of the best in the country, so these 2010 Reader’s Choice Awards have gone to the best of the best!
