Every year for nine years we have asked you, our readers, to tell us what you think is the best of Southern California gaming. We value your opinions—and so do Southern California casinos and slot makers nationwide.
So here are the results of the 2011 reader’s poll, featuring the best top three casinos and slots in 28 categories—bests and favorites that readers believe rate the Best of Southern California GamingTM awards. ese awards are not chosen by our editorial sta , but by you, the readers. During July and August, Southern California Gaming Guide readers responded from all over Southern California—and beyond—with either mail-in ballots that appeared in the July issue, or with the online ballot. Voting for the Best of Southern California Gaming closed on August 31st.

A total of 28 “Best of ” categories were polled this year, including ve Best Slot Awards (see page 20) for a total of 84 Best of Southern California Gaming awards. Each category was awarded a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner. From of a eld of 23 Southern California casinos, and thousands of slot machines, all three award places are very signi cant.

Resort & Casino, with a total of 15 awards, 10 of those First Place; Harrah’s Rincon Casino & Resort, with 15 awards; Valley View Casino & Hotel, with 13 awards; Sycuan Casino, with six awards; Pechanga Resort & Casino, with six awards; and Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, with ve awards. More award winners include Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa, Casino Pauma, Spotlight 29 Casino, San Manuel Casino, and Soboba Casino.
