Barona Resort & Casino Awards $386,975 in Golden Key Giveaway
arona Resort & Casino awarded the  nest American-made cars on the road to  ve players winning Golden Keys. Another 50 players each won $1,000 just for entering over the course of the 39-day Golden Key Giveaway promotion,
which began on May 21st and ended on June 28th in a grand  nale celebration. Instead of waiting for the Golden Key holders to select one of the  ve cars displayed in the promotion, Barona’s Casino Managers gave each of the  ve Golden Key recipients $77,350, which was the sticker price for the most expensive car in the promotion, the Cadillac Escalade.  e winners could choose to take the cash, or receive a voucher to
purchase one of the cars and receive the cash balance of the $77,350.
“ e promotion really created a lot of excitement on the casino  oor,” said Rick Salinas,
General Manager of Barona Resort & Casino.“One winner told us his car just broke down two days prior to winning his Golden Key and he was overwhelmed by the win. It was great to see that captivating smile on his face and the faces of all the other winners.”
 e lucky Golden Key winners were Roxanne H., Emma B., Victor F., Duy H., all
from San Diego; and Letitia R. from Chula Vista. All winners were at Barona Resort
& Casino for the grand  nale drawing, but in typical Barona fashion, they didn’t have

Jacob Balsiger, 21, of Tempe, AZ, is in eighth place with 13.115 million. And Jeremy Ausmus, 32, a professional poker player from Las Vegas, NV, is ninth with 9.805 million in chips. Seven of the nine  nal table competitors will earn more than $1 million, while ninth place has a guaranteed payment of $754,798.
