National American Indian Heritage Month is celebrated every year in November to honor and recognize the original people of this land. e rst “American Indian Day” was declared by the State of New York in 1916, but a month long recognition of Native Americans was not achieved until 1990. In that year President George H. W. Bush signed a congressional resolution designating November as National American Indian Heritage Month.
e Southern California Gaming GuideTM extended family has loved ones who still serve in the war in Afghanistan, and we’d like to give special thanks and acknowledgement to them, along with remembering all past and present armed service members on Veteran’s Day, November 11th. Families of service members make huge sacri ces and we hold them with particular gratitude and in great esteem.
