Valley View Casino & Hotel
On ursday, February 27th, it was far from a quiet night for Valley View Casino & Hotel guests as they lined up to watch and win at the biggest car giveaway ever in San Diego. Just several hours before the big win, the casino was lled with guests swiping their Players Club cards and playing slots and table games to qualify for their chance to win a set of 2014 His & Hers Mercedes. A night of hourly prizes and promotions ended when one lucky guest, Jose S., walked away with two 2014 Mercedes: a 2014 black 2-door C250C and a silver 4-door C250W. Both luxury cars, the cash and other prizes were valued at a combined $90,000, plus Valley View paid the sales tax and licensing fees on both cars to make it a truly spectacular prize.
During the giveaway, luck was on Jose’s side as he selected the number 18 during the 6 p.m. drawing, which allowed him to advance to win the cars. When asked why he chose that number, Jose said, “In honor of my granddaughter, who is turning 18 years old.” He explained that he had always planned on giving her a car for her sixteenth birthday when she got her driver’s license,
