Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation Honored with Emmy Award

Hosted the start of the 2014–15 school year.
 e 48-minute program tells the story of Sycuan and the Kumeyaay Nation through the words of its people: Tribal elders, Council leaders, family members and the next generation. Augmented by incisive observations from Native American historians
and positively impacting their community.
“We are very proud of this documentary about the history of our people. I hope that
the Emmy Award provides more opportunity for people to view this movie and learn about our heritage,” said Daniel Tucker, Sycuan Tribal Council Chairman.

by Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa, the 2014 tournament attracted nearly 375 golfers to the lush Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon on Monday, June 9th.
 e 2014 Morongo Charity Golf Tournament raised $60,000 for The Boys and Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass, which serves hundreds of children daily. Funds from
