Every operator would also have to pay a one- time fee for licensing which would be placed into the General Fund. The amount has not been announced. The license fee would then be credited against quarterly fees which are equivalent to a percentage of the operator’s gross income that can be attributed to the operation of the website in the state of California.

California is now the 12th state in 2015 to consider
daily fantasy sports legislation, according to Legal Sports Report. Only Kansas has actually passed a DFS bill into law, when it legalized DFS earlier this year.
New Jersey Rep. Frank Pallone recently called for a congressional hearing to explore the legal status of fantasy sports in the U.S. If passed, players would have to be a minimum 21 years old to play in daily fantasy sites.
Information on the bill states that an operator who is licensed to o er DFS would have to pay an annual regulatory fee which would go towards the
