SIpa Resort Casino New Parking Structure Underway
n July, crews began the construction on a new parking structure being built by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians for the Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs. e structure site is in an
area just north of the casino. It is expected that construction of the facility will take about one year, with parking opening in 2017. e structure will feature 850 parking stalls.

interview in July
by e Desert Sun, Tribal Chairman Je Grubbe indicated that a parking structure would proactively address parking needs within the gaming district, enhance the Spa Resort Casino guest experience and contribute to the local economy by creating jobs in the near-term during construction, and it will create new opportunities for more visitors to travel to and enjoy the casino destination.
