W Reader’sChoice2016BestCasinos
e’re proud to present the Reader’s Choice 2016 Best Casinos. Every year, since 2003, we invite readers to vote for the Best Casinos in Southern California. Voting is based on 22 Southern California tribal casinos, and this year there were 17 voting categories, each
with 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, for a total of 51 awards.
Casinos are thrilled to have players’ votes, and as everyone knows, only Southern California casino
players can determine Southern California’s best casinos. We believe these awards go to the best of the best, as we know all Southern California casinos are winners.
Our awards are chosen by our readers, and not by the Southern California Gaming GuideTM sta . Our voting policy limits one ballot per voter, so no one can vote 2, 10, or 20 times. As a result, the Reader’s Choice Best Casinos awards go to casinos that our readers truly think are the best.
Congratulations to the 2016 Best Casinos winners! You’ll notice repeat winners, with several of the larger casino properties in the highest ranks. For those casinos consistently at the top, it’s not just their size — many are casino resorts — but the fact they must have evolved each year to maintain and continue to o er their guests more ways to win, and deliver what players want: more value and fun.
ank you, every reader, who took the time to vote by lling out the ballot online and lling out the printed ballot in the August issue and mailing it to us. is year we had tens of thousands of responses from casino players all over Southern California, and also from Arizona and Nevada, who read the Southern California Gaming Guide each month. e 2016 Best Casinos begin on page 15.
As a thank you for sending us ballots each year, we enter all completed ballots into a drawing to give away cash prizes. On page 18, you can check out the 2016 Best Casinos Drawing Winners. We’re awaiting photos of the cash winners and once received, we’ll post them on our Facebook page,
Facebook.com/TheGamingGuide. Also this year we gave away Southern California Gaming Guide led ashlight key chains and tote bags to the rst 100 voters with completed ballots. anks to everyone who voted!
Enjoy October, and remember always keep your play fun at the casino!
