C Happy Holidays and Happy 2017!
hristmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza and all the winter holidays are times to enjoy the pleasures of the season: parties, celebrations, family get-togethers, and all the traditions. And this holiday season, take some time for fun at the casino. You couldn’t do it at a better time. Check out the many
exciting ways to win more and be entertained with rich holiday celebrations. Holidays at the Casinos begins on page 16 where you can read about exciting giveaways, seasonal entertainment, Christmas feasts and events at featured casinos in December.
Casinos are the ultimate party planners, so don’t miss a chance to go to one of the best parties in town. See Countdown to 2017: New Year’s Eve at the Casinos on page 18. Southern California casinos are known for their New Year’s Eve events — and this year, there’s a wide variety. Including retro entertainers, outdoor celebrations with reworks, and just the thrill of starting the New Year at the casino, you may even be lucky enough to win an exciting jackpot.
Each year, we take time in December to re ect on what we have accomplished during the past year. In 2016 we celebrated 14 years of publishing the Southern California Gaming Guide with a new magazine-
style format. We thank you for all your compliments on the new look. And thank you for making us your #1 resource for casino information in Southern California. We appreciate all your emails, calls and letters and all your suggestions. We value your feedback and respond to everyone’s input, so please continue letting us know what you would like to see. And great special thanks to all our advertisers, our media partners, some who have been advertising with us since 2002. You enable us to make the Southern California Gaming Guide free each month. We have some exciting changes for 2017, so stay tuned.
Just a reminder, always keep your casino playing fun. Be a responsible player and enjoy your time at the casino by always playing within your means — no matter what time of the year.
Special greetings and thanks to all our servicemen and women and their families in these often uncertain times. We send safekeeping wishes for all who are overseas and we hope for their speedy return.
Remember, always wager wisely, and keep your play fun at the casinos. We wish you a safe, joyful and happy holiday season and a healthy, happy and lucky 2017!
