W Reader’s Choice 2017 Best Casinos
e’re pleased to present the Reader’s Choice 2017 Best Casinos. Every year, since 2003, we invite readers to vote for the Best Casinos in Southern California. is year voting was based
stnd rd on 24 Southern California tribal casinos, with 17 voting categories, each with 1 , 2 and 3
places, for a total of 51 awards.
Casinos are thrilled to have players’ votes, and as everyone knows, only Southern California casino
players can determine Southern California’s best casinos. We believe these awards go to the best of the best, as all Southern California casinos are winners. Reader’s Choice awards are chosen by our readers, as the title states, and not by the Southern California Gaming Guide sta . Our voting policy limits one ballot per voter, so no one can vote 2, 10, or 20 times. As a result, the Reader’s Choice Best Casinos awards go to casinos that our readers truly think are the best.
Congratulations to the 2017 Best Casinos winners! ere are some repeat winners from past years, with several of the larger casino properties in the highest ranks. For casinos consistently at the top, it’s not their size, even though many are casino resorts, but the fact they evolve each year to continue to o er their guests more ways to win, and deliver what players want: more value and fun.
Every year in informal polls, casino players—our readers—tell us what they want at the casino: the best amenities and the most fun experience where they can play longer, enjoy great meals, stays and deals. And, above all, of course, they want to win. e 2017 Best Casinos have all that.
ank you, every reader, who took the time to vote by lling out the ballot online. is was the rst year we had only online voting, and judging from the response that included tens of thousands ballots from all over California and also from Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada who read the Southern California Gaming GuideTM each month, online-only voting is here to stay.
As a thank you for sending us ballots each year, we enter all complete ballots into a random drawing to give away cash prizes. On page 19, check out the 2017 Best Casinos Drawing Winners. As of press time we’re still waiting for photos of the winners and once received, we’ll post them on our Facebook page, Facebook.com/TheGamingGuide. anks to everyone who voted!
