According to the Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute in North Carolina, an estimated 17 to 21 million people in the U.S. are a ected by a fear of Friday the 13th, making it the most feared day and date in history. Some people are so paralyzed by fear that they avoid normal routines in doing business, taking ights or even getting out of bed. But statistical analysis has shown that fewer accidents happen on Friday 13th than on any other day; however, probably due to more people staying home and being extra careful out of their fear.
