Wishing You a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Very Lucky 2019!
We enjoy the winter holidays every year. From Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day there’s so much holiday fun at Southern California casinos. Check out the Casino Holiday Guide beginning on page 16 that lists featured casinos’ hot holiday giveaways, exciting entertainment, and festive
feasts. There are even fun opportunities to help casinos give back to the community this month. Check them out in Gaming News on page 6.
And casinos are the ultimate party planners, so don’t miss a chance to go to one of the best events around and have a lot of fun at a most excellent New Year’s Eve party. You can read about featured casinos’ December 31st events in NYE at the Casinos: Countdown to 2019 on page 18.
This month, we want to acknowledge all the victims who lost their homes and family members, and all the firefighters and first responders in California who were on the front lines of the recent wildfires in Ventura, Los Angeles and Butte Counties. In the December Tribes in News, just below this editorial, you can read about donations that California Tribes, owners of casinos, have recently made. We are inspired that the Lytton Rancheria Tribe, owner and operator of the San Pablo Lytton Casino in San Pablo, donated $1,000,000 to the victims of the devastating Camp Fire in Butte County. We were reminded that any donation or effort to help those in need would add up and be meaningful. Please consider making a donation to RedCross.org, the Tri Counties Bank Camp Fire Fund 2018, or any vetted charity that will aid the recent wildfire victims.
And special greetings and thanks to all servicemen and women and their families. We send safekeeping wishes for all who are overseas and we hope for their speedy and safe return.
Just a reminder to always keep your casino playing fun. Be a responsible player, and enjoy your time at the casino by always playing within your means, no matter what time of the year.
All of us at the Southern California Gaming Guide wish you a safe, joyful and happy holiday season and a healthy, happy and very lucky 2019!
Remember to always wager wisely, and keep your play fun at the casinos.
