Participating media personalities were Marker Broadcasting’s Kory James from The Big 106 KPLM (pictured right), who came in first place playing for Variety—the Children’s Charity of the Desert, which will receive a $2,500 donation.
Alpha Media’s Broady from The Eagle 106.9 came in second place, winning $2,000, which will be donated to the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. TK from 93.7 KCLB came in third place and won $1,500, which will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “We extend our deepest gratitude and sincere thanks to our local members of the media for taking time out of their busy schedules to participate in our first-ever ‘Champions for Charity’ Poker Tournament,” Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa Senior Vice President and General Manager Kato Moy said. “The funds raised will be put to great use, and we are honored to give back to those in need this holiday season.”
Having recently reopened earlier this year after undergoing renovations, Agua Caliente’s Poker

private poker room, which will offer close access to many of the soon-to-be-opened new amenities at
Agua Caliente.
