OAgua Caliente Band Donates $175,000 to Local Charities
n January 24th the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians presented $175,000 to five charities, with each receiving $35,000, from the proceeds of its ninth Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which was
held on December 7th, 2018. This year’s tournament benefited the following charities: Animal Samaritans, Make a Wish Foundation, Martha’s Village & Kitchen, Neuro Vitality, and Haskell University Foundation.
Throughout the past nine years, the Tribe has provided $1.3 million in donations directly resulting from the its Annual Charity Golf Tournament. In addition, the Tribe donates to many community organizations and non-profits throughout the Coachella Valley throughout the year.

Pechanga Resort & Casino Players Help Restock Local Mission
TFood Shelves
hroughout January, Pechanga Resort & Casino poker and bingo players helped Restock the Shelves of the Community Mission of Hope with 4,400 pounds of nonperishable food. The Restock the Shelves campaign supports the regional assistance organization by replenishing depleted food supplies after the busy November and December holidays. Community
Mission of Hope services more than 400 residents and families in Murrieta, Temecula, Anza, and Aguanga and beyond each month. Players brought donations of food items in exchange for playing incentives. The campaign is conducted in conjunction with Ante Up Magazine and Blue Shark Optics.
