Long hair and big hearts are wanted this
October at Spa Pechanga at Pechanga Resort
Casino. The 7th Annual Mane Campaign at Spa Pechanga heats up with the spa’s first ever Hairathon. The Hairathon will be a morning of back-to-back haircuts and fun in hopes of collecting heaping amounts of hair for breast cancer patients. It happens on Thursday, October 24th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the Pechanga Even Lawn.
Free haircuts for men, women and children will be offered for those eager to donate at least eight inches of hair. Haircuts will also be given throughout the entire month in the new Spa Pechanga, a stand-alone, luxury two-story salon and spa. The free haircuts and styles are provided Monday through Thursday by appointment starting Tuesday, October 1st through Thursday, October 31st. To donate
hair, make an appointment by calling 951-770- 8501.
The mane campaign coincides with October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donated tresses are sent to a nonprofit organization called Hair We Share that provides free real-hair wigs to eligible men, women and children with
breast cancer and other medical hair loss conditions. For more than a decade, Pechanga Resort Casino has been a major supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation in its region. Since 2011, resort/ casino team members have donated more than $350,000 to the fight against breast cancer and toward raising awareness.
