 centers, residential treatment centers, shelters for the abused, and after school programs. With the help of these charity partners, FARSB makes up the largest hunger relief organization in the Inland Empire, making food security a reality for over 1.2 million people every year.
San Manuel Casino Provides over 5,000 Meals
San Manuel Casino may still be temporarily closed, but their culinary team is hard at work preparing meals for medical professionals, senior citizens and the homeless population in the Inland Empire. San Manuel has partnered with multiple community organizations who provide services for groups that are elevated risk during this Coronavirus Pandemic.
For the entire month of April, Monday through Friday, San Manuel provided 100 hot meals daily, including fresh sliced turkey breast, homemade mashed potatoes and vegetables to the Highland Senior Center. The meals were distributed with the help of East Valley Water District to members of the community who drove up between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. every Friday last month.
San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has a long- standing relationship supporting Mary’s Mercy Center in San Bernardino. For the entire month of April, the San Manuel Casino Culinary team provided 150 boxed lunches with a freshly made sandwich, fruit, cookies, chips and a bottle of water, on Mondays and Wednesdays. They were distributed to the unsheltered in San Bernardino who look to Mary’s Mercy Center for resources.
And San Manuel Casino team members, their friends and families made and donated more than 950 cloth masks during its Mask Drive in late April.
The masks were donated to non-profit organizations includingSusanG.KomenInlandEmpireandothers.
The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is a federally recognized Indian tribe located on the San Manuel Indian Reservation near Highland, California. San Manuel exercises its inherent sovereign right of self-governance and provides essential services for its

Sycuan Donates Food, Water and Supplies During COVID-19 Pandemic
Social Action Corps Health System in San Bernardino specializes in providing medical care for low-income families. Given the current medical crisis, frontline workers are bombarded throughout their shifts, often without having time to eat. San Manuel has partnered with them to ensure these medical professionals are well-fed by providing 350 meals every Thursday in April.
San Manuel Casino partnered with Highland Senior Center & Mary’s Mercy Center and prepared more than 1,000 meals to feed underserved populations.

Sycuan Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, cares about the health and well being of the entire San Diego community. The organization partnered with different charitable entities to help the community get the resources it needed in March after Sycuan Casino Resort announced its temporary closure.
Sycuan donated food, water and supplies to a variety of non-profit organizations to show support throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The items Sycuan donated include pallets of water, hand soap, supplies and food items including fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, cheese, eggs, dairy products and much more.
Several supplies and hundreds of pounds of perishable items including fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, dairy, eggs and more went to the Home of Guiding Hands (HGH) in El Cajon, one
