C Reader’s Choice 2020 Best Casinos
ongratulations to the Southern California Gaming Guide Reader’s Choice 2020 Best CasinosTM winners! Every year since 2003, we have invited readers to vote for the Best Casinos in Southern California. This year voting was during September, based on 24 Southern California
Native American casinos, with 17 voting categories, each with first, second, and third places, for a total of 51 awards. The 2020 Best Casinos winners begin on page 13 and continue on pages 14 and 15.
Casinos tell us they are thrilled to have players’ votes, as only Southern California casino players can determine Southern California’s best casinos. We believe these awards go to the best of the best, as all Southern California casinos are winners.
Thank you, every reader, who took the time to fill out the ballot online at TheGamingGuide.com. And as a thank you for voting, all completed ballots were entered into a random drawing for cash prizes. On page 17, check out the list of the 2020 Best Casinos Drawing Winners.
So you don’t miss all the November special values go no further than page 21 to Extra Casino Values, where you’ll also find events to honor Veteran’s Day. All of us at the Southern California Gaming GuideTM would like to give special thanks and acknowledgement to veterans, active duty military and their families and to the memory of all fallen armed service members on Veteran’s Day, November 11th.
National American Indian Heritage Month is celebrated every year in November to honor and recognize the original people of our land. The first “American Indian Day” was declared by the State of New York in 1916, but a month long recognition of Native Americans was not achieved until 1990. In that year, President George H. W. Bush signed a joint congressional resolution designating November 1990 as National
American Indian Heritage Month.
On Thanksgiving and every day, we thank you, our readers and advertisers, for making the Southern
California Gaming Guide your major resource for monthly Southern California casino news and information. And we wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving holiday.
Meanwhile, please follow local, county, state and national health covid-19 guidelines and stay well and safe. As always, wager wisely and have fun at the casinos.
