Sycuan Donates $10,000 to 2020 Virtual Race for the Cure
ycuan proudly presented a $10,000 donation to Susan G. Komen San Diego in support of this year’s 2020 Virtual Race

Sycuan team members participated throughout San Diego by hiking, running and walking in nearby parks, hiking trails and in their local neighborhoods.
“Sycuan has been supporter of Susan G. Komen San Diego since 1999,” said Cody Martinez, Chairman, Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation (pictured right).“On behalf of Team Sycuan, we walk for all future generations.”
In order to protect the breast cancer community, the Race for the Cure went virtual for the first time. While the pandemic has cancelled many important moments in our lives, the mission to end breast cancer is not cancelled, and neither was the Race for the Cure. The important annual event raises significant funds for the breast cancer movement, thanks to supporters and survivors around the world who step up and take action by fundraising for the cause.
