Welcome 2021!
Happy New Year! I’m sure, like me, you breathed a sigh of relief that 2020 is over, and we now
have the promise of renewal with the New Year, hopefully putting the pandemic behind us with
the advent of the much-awaited vaccines. Once you receive yours, know that safety guidelines at Southern California casinos will not go away until the entire country has reached what immunologists call “herd immunity”. Keep wearing your face covering/mask when you go to the casino and be aware of and adhere to all casinos safety guidelines. Be sure to read Safety First: Casino Safety Updates each month. In this issue, this now regular feature, is on page 10.
You’ll want to read 2021 at the Casino: What’s New at SoCal Casinos on pages 12 and 13 to find out what we think are the new possibilities for Southern California casinos in 2021. A few are obvious, some are calculated guesses, and one or two are our hopes and wishes. Also, don’t miss January’s Extra Casino Values on page 19 to learn about where you can get even more extra pay for your play and more casino fun this month.
If you haven’t visited TheGamingGuide.com recently, be sure to check it out. You can see some of the more popular, current slot games and even watch some videos on how they play. Just scroll down on the home page to Hot Slots or click on Slots and page through the slot titles.
Each New Year we look forward to presenting exciting possibilities for you, our readers and advertisers, with a renewed effort to make the Southern California Gaming GuideTM the best it can be. This year, beginning in February, will mark our 19th anniversary and we have some great additions in work for the Southern California Gaming Guide in 2021.
When I created the Southern California Gaming Guide in 2002, it was established as an advocate for Responsible Gaming. We have always viewed gaming as entertainment. So it’s important always for us to remind you to play responsibly and keep your play fun. Planning when you go to the casino and preparing your visits in all ways, especially these days, can make a difference to your casino experience.
Our staff, contributors and I wish you a happy and lucky 2021. May you stay safe, enjoy good health, have much love in your life, and may all your casino dreams come true.
Remember, always wager wisely, and keep your play fun at the casinos.
