First published in February 2002, The San Diego Gaming GuideTM had San Diego County casino listings; slot, poker, and bingo news; players club promotions, big
winners, and lots more. Eight issues later, in August 2002, due to overwhelming reader and advertiser requests, The San Diego Gaming Guide was expanded to include all Southern California Indian casinos, and renamed the Southern California Gaming GuideTM. Since then, it is Southern California’s only casino player publication — and it’s free.
Next year, the Southern California Gaming Guide will celebrate 20 years of publishing. We’ve come a long way since our premiere issue, published in February 2002. You can see almost 20 years of
covers in the video below, and you can browse the actual issues in the Past Issues section at TheGamingGuide.com.
