I magine our delight when we heard that one of Southern California’s new jackpot winning millionaires picked up the February issue of the Southern California Gaming Guide, saw Soboba Casino’s ad and
decided to make a trip there to play! Randy Burklund from Torrance said he used the Gaming Guide’s “Driving Directions” page to guide him to Soboba Casino, where after a few hours of play, he hit one of the really big jackpots ($1,614,696)! One week in February produced three new millionaires at Southern California casinos—an unprecedented event—that left us reeling since we were instrumental in guiding one of the winners to his jackpot. Congratulations to all three very lucky men (where are the women!).

Also know as “The Poker Pundit,” Glazer is a columnist and Poker Tournament Editor for Card Player Magazine. Newsweek called him “a poker scholar,” and he was one of the broadcasters for ESPN at the 2002 World Series of Poker. We will feature his articles monthly, and I’m looking forward to learning all his secrets of play. Read his rst piece for us on page 20.
