Santee resident, Emma Wright was provided a golden opportunity when she won a $578,254 MegaJackpotsTM award, the largest ever at the Golden Acorn Casino
& Travel Center. The 46-year-old management analyst for the U.S. Department
of Defense was playing the popular Wheel of Fortune® dollar slot machine when she hit the jackpot.
“I screamed like a banshee when I won,” Wright said. “I couldn’t breathe! My heart was pounding!” Wright decided to give the Wheel of
Fortune dollar slot machine a spin after experi- encing a cold streak at blackjack. After spending $105, her big spin hit the jackpot.
Wright often visits Golden Acorn Casino because of its fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. “I visit Golden Acorn Casino because of

Wright said that she would use the jackpot money for her daughter. “I plan on setting aside money for my daughter to attend college,” she said. “This will provide her with an opportunity that wasn’t available when I was a child.” She may also pur- chase real estate to provide additional security for the future.
