he massive  eld of 6,494 players who entered the World Series of Poker® (WSOP) Main Event in the summer was narrowed to nine competitors who return to Las Vegas to compete for a share of over $27 million including the top prize of more than $8.5 million and the most coveted prize in
poker—the WSOP champion’s gold bracelet.  e  nal table has been set and will reconvene on November 7th when the November Nine will battle for the coveted title. First they will play down until two remain.  e nine players who survived to advance to November’s  nal table include the following.
Darvin Moon, 45, of Oakland, Maryland at 58,930,000 is the chip leader. Eric Buchman, 28, of Valley Stream, New York at 34,800,000. Steven Begleiter, 47, of Chappaqua, New York at 29,885,000. Phil Ivey, 33, of Las Vegas at 9,765,000. Antoine Saout, 25, of Saint Martin des Champs, France at 9,500,000. James Akenhead, 26, of London, England at 6,800,000.
 e November Nine resume play at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino on November 7th. When the  nal two players are identi ed, play will stop, resuming again on Tuesday, November 10th. ESPN will provide samedaycoverageofthewinninghandandtheawardingofthechampion’sbracelet.
