After more than two years of planning, constructing and molding its ambitious vision for an expanded facility and heightened guest experience, Chumash Casino Resort is ready to show the world that it has risen to a new level.
Visitors who have made the trip to Santa Barbara’s beautiful wine country and experienced Chumash Casino Resort in the past will be blown away by the facility’s transformation into a world-class resort. e property is now complete with a 12-story hotel tower, an exquisite rooftop pool, a spacious-yet-tranquil spa, multiple food outlets and an expanded casino oor that allows guests to indulge in one of the top entertainment experiences in the gaming industry.
In May 2016, the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians revealed its expanded resort to VIPs and dignitaries, showcasing
all of the new elements
that take Chumash Casino Resort to another level.
Spacious New Gaming Floor
One of the rst things you will notice when you walk into the newly remodeled gaming oor at the Chumash Casino Resort is the feeling of spaciousness. at’s because a major component of the casino expansion project was the actual expansion of the gaming oor, which now features 2,300 slot machines.
“Approximately 50,000 square feet of new casino oor was added,” said Bill Peters, General Manger of the Chumash Casino Resort. “Not only does it provide our guests with more elbow room, but it also gives our guests a feeling of a sprawling and extensive gaming oor.”
Between the additional slot machines, a new and expanded Poker Room and all blackjack tables guests have loved for all these years, there is a wide variety of gaming activities all on one expansive and bustling oor.
In addition, the brand new luxurious Higher Limits area created in the new space, allows high limit guests a space all their own for their gaming pleasure.
Chumash Casino Resort’s high limit area has tripled in size to 7,800 square feet and features 125 slot machines, four blackjack tables, an exclusive lounge with beverage service, its
own cashier cage,
restrooms, concierge service, and a view of the resort’s exquisite new
atrium from the best location on the gaming oor. “Walking into the Higher Limits Room, compared to what we had before, is like going from zero to 100 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds — you’re going to feel special,” said John Blair, Player Development Manager for Chumash Casino Resort. “You’ll be amazed by the amenities, the interior design and the level of guest service o ered in the room. You’re
going to feel comfortable as a high-end player here.” Another gem of the expansion project is the new Poker Room, which is located on the expanded portion gaming oor and is a stark contrast to its
former incarnations. Now, with its rotunda entryway, new furnishings, walls covered with at-screen tvs, new well-lit tables and keenly located near the new food court, the Poker Room is nally showcased and presented in a way that re ects the passion and respect for poker that’s shared by those who play and work in the space.
